2021 IMQG Dues!

2020 QuiltCon BagIt’s that time of year again.  It’s time to pay your 2021 IMQG dues. But there’s good news in the bad.  Because COVID-19 has sent us into the virtual world for most of this year (and possibly a good portion of next year), we’re reducing the IMQG dues for next year to $35.  We’re asking everyone to get their dues in no later than January 31st. Why is it important to get your dues in as early as possible? Our dues to the MQG mothership are calculated based on how many paid members we have. We need time to do our calculations and get them to MQG so you and we continue to have access to MQG’s great stuff. We also want to make sure all our i’s are dotted and t’s crossed before the annual fabric challenge announcements. This year to encourage everyone to pay their dues early, we’re going to give away a 2020 QuiltCon gift bag to a random winner selected from those who renew their dues by midnight on December 31st!  This awesome Lonestar QuiltCon bag comes stuffed with a whole bunch of loot including:

  • Pineapple Quilt Block Foundation Paper
  • 2 Figo Charm samplers
  • 1 panel
  • 3 fat quarters
  • 6 spools of thread
  • a pair of MQG socks
  • a ruler
  • 7 patterns
  • and more!

2020 UFO Challenge

We have a fun little year long challenge for you! (Insert Mission: Impossible theme music here) Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to complete (yes, even binding) your UFO projects this year. Bonus points if you complete 20 UFO’s in 2020. What counts as a UFO? Anything you’ve started. You’ve bought/bookmarked/saved the pattern, bought fabric or pulled it from your stash, cut fabric, pieced a block or even part of a block? That counts. How complete is too complete? As long as you have stitching to do, it’s not complete.

After sign-up’s close, check back here for a scoreboard of completed projects.
