DESCRIPTION:Join us for a virtual presentation and trunk show from Cristina De Miranda – Thru-Quilting: My Journey Thru Modern Quilting. \n\n\n\nCristina De Miranda is a modern quilter and pattern designer based out of Toronto. She is the designer behind Ships & Violins https://shipsandviolins.com/. She will share details about her inspirations\, her approach to design\, and how pursuing a creative business isn’t so different from a long walk in the woods. \n\n\n\nWe will also have a reveal and vote on the mini quilts created from the June fat quarter swap. Your quilt should be 18″ x 22″ or 22″ x 18″\, and should make use of some of each of the three FQs you received during the June swap. Additional colors may be added as long as you use material from each of your three FQs. Bring your quilt to share what you made\, and enter to win a People’s Choice Award! Quilts will be on display at meeting check in\, and you can vote first thing before diving into our programming for the day. \n\n\n\nThis is a hybrid meeting with a virtual presentation.
